Why Celvara
What Sets Our Advisory Practice Apart
We have built our practice around the things that matter most to clients: clarity, reliability, and a process that does not leave them guessing at any stage.
← Back to HomeSix Reasons Clients Choose Celvara
These are the qualities we have consistently worked to build into every engagement — not as promises, but as observable standards.
Qualified Practitioners
All advisors are admitted to the Singapore Bar and bring focused experience in their practice areas. You work with specialists, not generalists covering unfamiliar ground.
Structured Engagements
Each matter follows a documented process with clear milestones. Clients know what is happening at each stage and are not left waiting without an update.
Modern Work Methods
Document preparation, review, and correspondence are handled using current tools and secure platforms. This keeps engagements efficient and well-organised throughout.
Communication in Plain Language
Advice is written and explained in language clients can follow. We do not hide behind jargon, and we check that clients feel clear about the situation before moving forward.
Focused on Practical Results
We measure success by the practical outcome for our clients — a well-prepared appeal, a resolved boundary dispute, a facility agreement that works. The legal work serves a real-world purpose.
Transparent Fee Structure
Fees are stated clearly before work begins. There are no hidden additions or unexpected costs during the engagement. Clients can plan accordingly from the outset.
Each Advantage, Explained
Professional Expertise
Years of focused practice
Our practitioners have spent their careers in the specific areas where Celvara operates. This is not a broad general practice that takes on any matter that arrives. We have chosen to work within three clearly defined areas and to build deep familiarity in each.
- Banking and finance advisors with regional transaction experience
- Employment advisory informed by current MOM guidelines and appeal outcomes
- Dispute advisors familiar with CMC procedures and resident dispute patterns
- All practitioners hold current Singapore practising certificates
Process & Technology
Efficient and organised
Every engagement is structured from the start. Clients receive a clear outline of the work ahead, including what is required from them and when they can expect deliverables. We use secure digital platforms for document management and client communication.
- Documented process with defined stages for each service type
- Secure storage for all client materials and correspondence
- Milestone-based communication so clients are never left without an update
- Senior review of all client-facing documents before delivery
Client Service Quality
Accessible and attentive
We treat every client as someone who deserves a clear explanation of their situation and the available options. Clients are not pushed toward a particular course of action. We explain, clarify, and then let them decide.
- Responses to client queries within one business day
- Explanations written in plain, accessible language
- Named point of contact for each engagement
- Client pace respected — no artificial urgency applied
Value & Pricing Clarity
What you see is what you pay
Our fees are published and discussed openly at the start of each engagement. There are no variable billing rates per hour with an uncertain total — clients know what the work will cost before they commit.
- Fixed fees for each service type — from SGD 380 to SGD 2,300
- Full deliverables included in quoted fee — no add-ons for core work
- Written confirmation of scope and fee before work begins
- Competitive for the Singapore market given the level of expertise involved
Practical Outcomes
Work that serves your goals
We measure the quality of our work by whether it serves its intended purpose — not by how many pages of analysis were produced. Our deliverables are practical tools: appeal letters, compliance memos, advisory letters, mediation briefs.
- Deliverables that are ready to use — not drafts requiring extensive revision
- Banking documentation reviewed for practical compliance, not just formality
- Appeal letters structured to address rejection grounds specifically
- Dispute advisory oriented toward constructive resolution, not escalation

What We Do Differently
Comprehensive Written Deliverables
Each engagement produces a specific set of documents — memos, letters, checklists, or annotated agreements — that clients can keep, share, and act on. These are not verbal summaries.
Grounds-First Assessment
For appeal matters, we begin with a frank assessment of the grounds before committing to a submission. If the grounds are weak, we say so. We do not proceed with appeals that are unlikely to succeed on the merits.
Constructive Approach to Disputes
Neighbour dispute advisory is handled with a view to resolution, not escalation. We help clients understand the most constructive path available — whether that is a written notice, mediation, or a different approach.
PDPA-Compliant Data Handling
All client information is managed in compliance with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act. We do not retain information beyond the scope of the engagement and do not share data with third parties without clear cause.
